Maputo, 17 July 2026 – The National Petroleum Institute (INP) held a training session this Friday for its officials and state agents in the framework of collective study activities of the legislation and celebrations of International Archives Day.
The aim of the initiative was to strengthen participants' knowledge of the technical, administrative and ethical procedures applicable to the performance of their duties.
The session was led by Inspector Roque Tembo of the National Commission for Implementation of State Secret Standards (CPISE), and by Odibar Lampeão, experts from the Ministry of State Administration and Civil Service (MAEFP).
During training, which included moments of interaction and sharing of experiences between participants and trainers, subjects related to the management of classified documents and information, including state secrecy, confidentiality, professional secrecy and conduct rules in Public Administration were addressed.
Odibar Lampeão presented the theme "Integrity and Modernization in the Context of Public Administration Reforms, with Focus on Communication", while Inspector Roque Tembo guided the session on "Information Security Culture".
The head of the Human Resources Department of the INP, Ana Injojo, said that the initiative is part of the institution’s business plan for this year and contributes to the compliance with the rules of organization and functioning of the Public Administration, and to the improvement of staff performance. "This training is part of the activities planned for this year and reinforces the INP's commitment to improving the performance of its officials and state agents," said Ana Injojo.
Odibar Lampeão, addressing the participants, left a message of encouragement to the processes of digital transformation underway in the state apparatus. The speaker stressed that State officials and officials should not fear the introduction of new technologies into the institution. "On the contrary, these are solutions with an enormous potential to promote the speed of administrative actions, bringing direct benefits to citizens who use our services," the speaker said.
The session ended with a call for responsible adoption of digital tools, compliance with information security standards and strengthening administrative practices geared to the efficiency and continuous improvement of the services provided by the INP.
